Springtime Growing

Spring time is here and at The Goslings we have been busy growing things!

Our Jack and the Beanstalk theme offered a perfect opportunity for growing beans. Many people have reported that their beans are thriving. Please encourage your child to observe changes in their bean as it grows; measure its size, count the number of leaves, then hopefully enjoy the flowers followed by the beans. Taking regular pictures as their bean develops will provide a visual reminder of how their bean has changed and provide an opportunity to talk with your child about how things grow and change over time.

The cress your child brought home will hopefully sprout and grow. As they have grown it themselves, it may encourage the children to taste something new!

Now is the time to be starting seeds indoors so why not try growing some flowers for the garden together.

Happy growing!
