What an amazing year we have had at The Goslings Preschool! We have been busy getting our little ones independent, confident, happy and prepared for their next steps in their learning. We started the year learning all about their families, where they live, people who are important to them and what makes them happy or sad. It has been lovely to think back at how far all the children have come in such a short space of time. We are all immensely proud of all your children, and we are extremely grateful that you chose to send your children to us, for us to care and nurture them through their early learning experiences.
We have had some amazing visits this year with the farm, police, fire, horses, tractor and not forgetting all the parents that have come in to be mystery reader for the children; thank you to everyone for giving up your time to come and read to the children.
Sadly we have 13 of our children moving on to primary school in September and we will miss them all. It will be strange for the younger ones in September when they come back and their friends have moved on, but they will have a great academic year and make lots of new friends very quickly. Good luck to all our leavers and remember to be good for your teachers and always use kind hands and kind words, and don’t forget to come back and visit us sometime; we would love to see you again to see how you are getting on at big school.
Thank you to the committee for all their hard work they have put in over the last year. Without our parent led committee we wouldn’t be able to continue, so thanks for giving up your time to ensure that the preschool keeps moving forward positively. Thank you to all the staff for their commitment and support during this year. This has been a tough year for me, but knowing that the preschool was running smoothly, just shows how far the staff have come in the last year.
We still have the farm trip on Monday (15th July) to look forward to, so see you all there at 10.30am at Park Farm (Slaughter Hill, Crewe Green/Haslington, Crewe, CW1 5UP). This will be a lovely couple of hours that the children can have with their friends before they go to big school.
For those parents that are still with us next year, we start back to preschool on Monday 2nd September at 9.00am. Over the summer I will send you term dates, invoices, and any other relevant information that is needed for the start of term. Have an amazing summer, spending quality time with your families.
